Still love the idea of a drive in if not the execution. The four movies playing at the Skyline Drive-In through Aug. Did not eat any confectionery so can't comment on that aspect but as this was a quiet Monday it may have been less than representative. I took the radio back at the end of our movie and had to knock the attendant up from the caravan at the back, whilst the angry occupants from the cars watching the stalled other screen searched in vain for someone to raise the issue with. Establishing all this took up half the movie, and at the same time the other movie screen went blank. So if you go take a radio as there was 1 ghetto blaster to hire from the site. Could not keep the radio on without the engine running which ruled out watching from the open rear of the car. The otehr screen was showing The Man from UNCLE and that had a few cars, but for ours we were alone. As it was we arrived for the 10pm showing of Fantastic 4. It would appear the drive in have little option in the matter but though this be no issue if you are a local for other visitors wanting to experience the drive in movie atmosphere you will have to take what you can get. Unfortunately the 2, 7pm showings were of R rated movies and the 2 at 10 family fair. Was looking forward to coming here as part of a 2,500 mile road trip.
